Account Executive, Government Sales
Job Description
Agility is seeking an Account Executive, Government Sales to join our team in Denver, CO. In this role, you will help clients create emergency and continuity plans through in-person and online workshops. Our proprietary online platform provides a way for clients to manage, maintain and activate their emergency and continuity plans. Sectors served include state and local government, K-12, higher education, private enterprise and healthcare. Qualified candidates will be entrepreneurial, hard-working, and have the relentless ability to close accounts using a consultative and solutions-based approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Growing revenue via prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing client accounts
- Utilizing a consultative selling approach to build relationships
- Meeting quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Managing prospective client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle
- Conducting one-on-one, online and group sales presentations
- Attending trade events and conferences and workshops throughout the U.S.
- Calling prospects to establish new opportunities
- Tracking activities, customer information, forecasts and reports through Salesforce.com
Requirements:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of successful sales experience
- SaaS experience preferred
- Proven negotiation experience and the ability to obtain agreement from multiple parties
- Highly motivated and target-driven mentality with proven track record in sales
- Clear understanding of solution-based selling processes
- Effective listening skills and the ability to quickly build rapport
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and professional phone presence
