Account Executive I, Houston
Job Description
We are looking for an authentic and compassionate salesperson with a genuine interest in supporting local restaurants to join our team as an Account Executive in Houston, Texas. We are interested in someone who is a self-starter, tenacious, passionate, curious, innovative, humble, and a natural hustler. You will be responsible for building relationships with local restaurants to get them to adopt the Favor platform and its features.
What you'll do:
- Cultivate new and existing leads in the Houston area
- Develop and maintain a growing pipeline of potential partners
- Plan a sales approach for your territory with both outside and inside sales
- Spend a minimum of 2 to 3 days in market
- Drive the full sales cycle to attain new business
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support the success of new business
- Achieve and consistently exceed quarterly and yearly sales goals
- Identify decision makers within potential partnership companies to determine how to best partner and gain buy-in
- Pay close attention to detail and exhibit strong organizational skills with a focus on quality of work and relationship building
Skills you have:
- A relevant degree or comparable formal training, certification, and/or work experience
- 3+ years of experience with inside and outside sales
- A strong history of executing full lifecycle sales in person and over the phone
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A professional yet personable demeanor
- A highly customer-focused, consultative, data-driven sales approach
- Strategic thinker with both book and people smarts
- The ability to speak Spanish is a plus
