Account Executive II - SLED
Job Description
ZIVARO is seeking an Account Executive II to assist State and Local Government and Education (SLED) Sales Vertical in taking the lead in defining and executing an impactful and comprehensive government relations strategy addressing both state and local government. This sales associate will have experience in proactivity networking with future clients and can sell to multiple clients at the C-level. They will also work with clients to identify and understand their objectives and align our products and services with their needs. An AE level II will be responsible for overseeing and managing a quota of $1M to $1.5M.
ZIVARO is looking for a person who ideally possesses outstanding sales experience, has excellent customer service skills, and a passion for technology in new business. We value executives who are passionate about growing accounts, proactively pursuing new accounts, and identifying obstacles to increase business.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop strategic account strategies, marketing strategies, and promotional channels to introduce ZIVARO products and services to the market
- Negotiate and close contracts, while maintaining excellent client relationships, continually build opportunity pipeline
- Maintain strategic accounts relationships, and expand business opportunities in established accounts
- Discover clients' business needs and propose appropriate solutions
- Learn key aspects of customers' business as it relates to ZIVARO products and services
- Organize and lead day-to-day activities that are required to ensure timely and accurate response times to internal and external customers
- Proven ability to hit $1M to $1.5M in quota
- Comfortable with MS Office including PowerPoint, using CRM, and forecasting accuracy +/- of commit targets
- Able to travel 30-50% of the time
- Able to frequently lift up to 35 pounds
- Frequently sit for long periods of time at a desk while using computer
- Able to stand for long periods of time at conferences
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of account executive experience with a Bachelor's degree preferred, or 7 years of experience
- Able to manage a $1M to $1.5M quota
- Able/willing to travel 30-50% of the time
- Possess outstanding sales experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Passion for technology in new business
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
- IT Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS, Engineering, Computer Science, or Math) and 3 years' experience preferred; or 7 years of equivalent experience working as an account executive in the sales industry.
U.S. Citizenship is required for most positions at Zivaro due to security clearance requirements and government/federal contracts held by Zivaro.
