Tough market conditions require tough talent. At Maxwell Capital we understand the mental fortitude it takes navigating the turbulent waters existing in our industry today. Our Account Executives sell not only Best Execution on Secondary Markets (conventional, governments, jumbo, non-qm and seconds) but create opportunities for outsourcing of processing, underwriting, closing, and diligence and technology including a Private Label Solution. Imagine being able to sell a single solution with Borrower Facing Underwriting, Human in the Loop Technology and a Third Party Capital Markets Application that ties it all together. Our Account Executives have multiple opportunities for all client types, it’s what’s needed today to turn every fixed cost into a variable cost, scaling for the volumes today and tomorrow. All backed and facilitated with our outbound Sales Direct Internal Teams and Marketing.

In this role, you will need a current book of business of IMB, Brokers, Banks, Credit Unions and Ag Credits, and be responsible for developing new accounts, maintaining loan production from active accounts, and identifying and soliciting prospective accounts within your defined territory. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and the desire to build strong business relationships.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act in Go To Market Strategy as a Consultant, Catalyst and Caretaker to create opportunities and problem-solve between Client/Capital Markets/Diligence, Fulfillment and Platform
  • Seek new accounts with an assigned territory with set metrics and goals, ie. sign two new accounts per month
  • Support training team during onboarding of new clients
  • Responsible for timely client renewals
  • Maintain contact with Sales/CS on a regular basis to solicit new business and be available as a consultant and professional resource
  • Communicate Program and Scorecard updates
  • Coordinate with CS and monitor assigned accounts with a continual focus on innovating the customer experience and business processes
  • Review the active loan pipeline each day to intercept issues if they arise
  • Provide tangible feedback on the regional market and competitiveness in the assigned territory
  • Cultivate relationships and maintain long-term partnerships by providing best-in-class client service through friendly, professional, and responsive communication with both internal and external customers

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Discuss conditions as dictated by UW and internal policy, and ensure the client/client manager understands what is required
  • A motivated sales professional who always meets or exceeds sales goals and expectations
  • Proven ability to creatively source and develop new business while also focused on how to continually nurture current business
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment and adapt successfully in the face of ambiguity
  • Stellar organizational skills, attention to detail and can-do attitude
  • Empathetic to the customer experience and able to flex to various audiences
  • Possess strong initiative and ownership as an individual with a team-oriented approach to success
  • Strong written/verbal communication and influencing skills.
  • Provide exemplary service in all client interactions and communications; always uphold Maxwell Capital service standards and exercise good judgment.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience as a Wholesale Account Executive or with a proven track record of exceeding volume/revenue goals
  • Able to demonstrate a tangible book of business and relationships in place
  • A college degree is desired or relevant experience

Our target salary range for this position is approximately $90,000-$120,000 per year. The compensation for this role will include a combination of Base plus uncapped commission.
