Account Executive - Mid-Market - North America

Clausematch is an award-winning RegTech company, with a unique, innovative SaaS product that is used by Financial Institutions, including Tier 1 Banks, FinTechs, Insurers and Private Banks across the globe to streamline and digitise compliance management.
We're a young, highly motivated, fun-loving team. Although we work in a remote setting, our local Charlotte team meets monthly for team-bonding activities, and we have two in-person team meetings each year.
Role and responsibilities
We are looking for a committed Mid-Market Account Executive to be part of our growth journey. The Mid-Market Account Executive's focus and ownership is growing the US client base and revenue in Mid-Market clients in the highly regulated Financial Services and Insurance market.
To be successful as a Mid-Market Account Executive you should have a proven track record of managing a pipeline of 3.5x and securing Mid-Market deals with circa 4-6 month lead times of value between $30k - $150k ACV.
An outstanding Mid-Market Account Executive will have a Challenger sales methodology and a desire to join a business where you can make a real difference at the early stage of the company growth journey.
The responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Develop prospects and opportunities through the sales cycle (average 4-6 months)
- Navigate the bureaucracy of Mid-Market organizations 3-10 people involved through to deal close)
- Own, complete and submit high quality Presentations to a group of senior stakeholders
- Build strategic advisor relationships with clients and prospects (typical client/prospect roles: Head of Compliance / Policy / Head of Governance) through to implementation and onboarding (where you work hand in hand with professional services to support the client in their continued journey).
- Nurture strong internal partnerships to support a successful sales cycle:
- Months 1-4: Sales & Professional Services
- Months 4-7: Sales & Client Services
- Month 7-10: Product & Support
- Create and shape lead-generating, Mid-Market-focused campaigns in partnership with marketing colleagues
- Develop opportunities through to prospect and beyond (33% leads from SDR, 33% marketing, 34% self-generated)
Requirements
Essential
- US College education essential

- Strong understanding of Saas: Subscription based revenue, cloud-based solution
- Skilled at developing and delivering business presentations, emails and business cases (Google suite used at Clausematch)
- Curious mindset, hungry to learn more about the industry, solution and our clients.
- Focus beyond the sale to a successful and delighted customer going live with our solution.
- Bachelor's degree
- Background in selling into regulated industries
- Worked in a 50-100 employee business (global, fast growth)
