Job Description

As an account executive, you will partner with our VP, Practice leaders to help collaborate with brands directly (and supporting agencies) to evangelize the InMarket product suite: Media, Measurement, and Insights. 

The ideal Account Executive has a developed understanding of digital media and the ad tech landscape. This ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and outgoing self-starter who is a key player in driving revenue and building a growing client base. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ideal candidate collaborates with team members and possesses the passion to drive change for InMarket. The Account Executive should be ready to hit the ground running to close new business, and thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.


Duties

  • Generate demand and drive new business growth, requiring a strong focus on prospecting and lead development 
  • Manage and drive RFPs and other questionnaires for prospects and existing clients
  • Generate a high volume of sales related activities including cold calling, meetings, presentations, proposals and more. 
  • Develop, manage, and grow revenue pipeline providing accurate weekly forecasting. 
  • Drive new client adoption, as well as revenue growth throughout various stages of the sales process with our customers, and act as a resource and business partner for them
  • Prospect, prioritize, and qualify suspects, prospects and potential upsell opportunities
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to position the InMarket offering to world class brands and agencies
  • Take a data driven approach to book management and prioritization of resources
  • Opening doors/creating brand level (not agency) discussions for individual sellers
  • Focus on one of the following verticals Big Box/Retail, CPG/Grocery, QSR/Dine-In, Alcohol Beverage, or Pharma.
  • Collaborate with internal product, sales support, and client success to provide the best client experience

 

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree and 5 years experience in a brand direct sales environment
  • Understanding of ad tech space, products, pricing models & competitve set
  • Strong and professional communication skills
  • Promotes a solid sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables
  • Experience with SalesForce
  • Proven track record demonstrating strong articulation of a product selling points via phone and email
  • Strong quantitative skills and ability to negotiate
  • Self-starter / Hunter mentality – able to tackle new clients or territories
  • Agile learner – able to rapidly grasp new technology and implication on market trends
  • Experience managing longer sales cycles with multiple partners
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, while being able to quickly gain product efficiency across our broad set of offerings
  • Smart, articulate, polished, self-driven, highly motivated team player with excellent problem solving skills, as well as superb organizational, written and verbal communications skills. 
  • A consultative, strategic, and empathetic thinker with great energy and enthusiasm for prospecting for new business and excellent closing skills
