Title: SLED Account Executive

Territory: Southeast US

As the Account Executive on the State, Local Government and Education (SLED) East team, your primary focus is aimed at closing larger strategic business while maintaining sustained transactional sales growth with a robust pipeline of new opportunities. Collaborating with the entire partner ecosystem to identify, develop, accelerate, up-sell and close transactions is critical.

The Account Executive role is an executive sales position responsible for the sale of NICE solutions to support the operational needs of our clients and prospects within SLEDs largest organizations and departments.

Success in the Role:

  • Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement
  • Ability to travel 25% +-
  • 5+ years’ experience in related software / CX sales
  • Strong knowledge of State and local government as well as the Education community with relationships and the ability to engage at the senior leadership levels.
  • Proven ability to recognize, analyze, and execute on small and large-scale enterprise-wide business opportunities
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills. Ability to participate effectively in cross-functional teams and work well in a matrixed management environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation skills – Dynamic presenter with the ability to convey information to all levels including CXO levels
  • Self-starter, with the ability to manage and report on simultaneous partner engagements
  • Understanding the assigned accounts’ extended business model and create offerings and solutions to meet corporate goals
  • Must be able to sell complete NICE solution portfolio within an account and establish NICE as a trusted and strategic partner to the system integrators.
  • Manage complex enterprise sales campaigns while managing a diverse set of partners within the same accounts
  • Must exhibit general management style of sale while running a coordinated campaign within all entities of NICE
  • Experience selling cooperatively with Partners and System Integrators
  • Experience selling in both a direct and an indirect or channel driven model
  • Experience leading a team of professionals in sales campaigns that include Sales Executives, Field SE’s, Inside Sales, Field Marketing, Professional Services, etc.
  • Must have experience in selling in or around enterprise applications
  • Proven track record of success selling in a highly competitive environment
