The Role:Â
Carrot Fertility is seeking an SMB Account Executive who is driven, adaptable and has an eagerness to learn more about the benefits space. In this role, you will sell Carrot fertility solutions to primarily fully insured employers under 500 lives. You will build a strong sales pipeline while also closing deals, exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets. You will become an expert on Carrot's product and conduct discovery calls, customized demos and presentations to prospective customers. You will act as a partner to Carrot’s product team and the voice of the market to help inform product priorities, while learning Carrot’s unique value proposition and convincingly communicate Carrot’s strengths
The Team:Â
The SMB Account Executive’s will report to the Senior SMB Manager, and will work alongside a team of 6 other SMB AEs. They work closely with sales enablement, consultant relations, solutions consultants and more to hit their revenue goals.
Minimum Qualifications:Â
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in a closing sales role
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets consistently
- Outstanding communication (interpersonal and presentation) and closing skills
- Experience with a CRM (Salesforce specifically)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Ideally, passionate about Carrot’s mission to achieve fertility care for all
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling employer health benefits into small - mid size enterprises
- Experience prospecting, booking new meetings and building a pipeline
- Ability to navigate complicated benefits buying topics, such as cost savings and compliance
- Experience working with consulting firms who support employers evaluations of new benefits
Compensation:
Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $90,000-$100,000. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
