Job Description

Workrise is hiring an Account Executive to help take the company to the next level. If you have a proven track record in sales, staffing, and/or construction management and are passionate about driving growth, we want to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organization. In this position, you will act as the quarterback for new utility solar-grade staffing projects. You will provide leadership and insight into each project from implementation through project completion to help ensure company and client expectations are met. This role will require managing several tasks and projects simultaneously and up to 50% travel. The position is exempt and will report to the Senior Manager.

What you'll be doing:

  • Prospect potential clients using direct methods such as calling, emailing, and face-to-face meetings and indirect methods such as networking, social media, and industry conferences and trade shows.
  • Build rapport with all decision-makers and influencers within existing accounts to increase partnership opportunities for future projects.
  • Deliver exceptional service, remain engaged with all clients and build a professional network that results in further business opportunities.
  • Be a thought partner and solution provider, be able to walk on a job site, and understand the project stage, skill sets needed, and potential challenges the client might face.
  • Be the subject matter expert for solar projects, accurately forecasting anticipated staffing needs and internal resources needed through the various stages of the project.
  • Expertly navigates potentially challenging conversations with clients.
  • Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills are required.
  • Be a self-starter and team player with a positive attitude and the ability to perform job duties with a high level of autonomy.
  • Must be able to thrive in ambiguity and think critically to develop solutions for the client.
  • Sales and business development acumen required.
  • Meet weekly/ monthly KPIs
  • Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
  • Experience with CRM, preferably Salesforce

What you should have:

  • 3+ years of staffing, sales, and/or construction industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience desired.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and G-Suite.  
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Ability to drive a non-commercial vehicle (must possess a valid driver's license)
  • Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like
