As the Fintech & Crypto Account Management Lead, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing a team of highly skilled account managers who look after our largest Fintech & Crypto accounts like Block, SoFi, Coinbase, Robinhood, and Chime. You will set the vision and strategy to drive growth at scale for our customers, and collaborate closely with our product leaders to build mission-critical solutions for the most sophisticated players in the Fintech & Crypto ecosystem. Ideal candidates will have experience managing and growing a large revenue portfolio ($100M+ ARR), leading a high-performing team, setting and hitting revenue goals, building relationships with executive decision-makers, and influencing product roadmap with technical aptitude.

Responsibilities
- Recruiting, managing, and developing a world-class account management team to deliver on revenue targets for the Fintech & Crypto businessÂ
- Building and executing strategy that drives upsell/cross-sell revenue and renewals at scale, and operationalizing the process to maximize team efficiency
- Setting the vision and inspiring the team to do their best work, managing talent effectively through career development and mentorship
- Serving as a key decision-maker and escalation point on complex renewals and negotiations
- Engaging with C-level executives to build customer relationships and advance business objectives
- Serve as a critical “voice of the customer” among Plaid leadership and the broader organization
- Working closely with Product leadership to influence roadmap and prioritize building of products that meet customer needs and grow revenue
- Working in a fast paced, cross-functional environment that is different every day
Qualifications
- 10+ years work experience, 7+ years as people leader in account-based teams (Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Partnerships)Â
- Proven track record of success driving revenue through sales or account management in a high-growth technology environmentÂ
- Exceptionally strong people management skills and significant experience with performance managing high talent teams
- Operational rigor in managing a goal-based revenue team in driving to results
- Passion for Fintech and/or Crypto space and Plaid’s mission of increasing financial access (Fintech work experience is helpful, but not required)
- Strong ability to articulate technical and financial value propositions at the executive level
- Executive presence and comfort mapping to C-Suite / VP stakeholders at customer organizations
- Outstanding communication skills to drive internal excitement, alignment, and results
