Account Management Senior Associate - IFP Sales- Work From Home Opportunity

The Account Management Senior Associate/Sales Support Specialist will provide support to the IFP Broker Distribution Team and their assigned markets/partner relationships. This role will provide broker support, non-standard reporting, triage broker requests, and assist the broker management team in the field when needed. The primary focus for the position is executing broker-specific operational deliverables, identifying service trends, supporting operational needs and issue resolution. In order to function effectively in the model, this role will collaborate with the IFP Broker Distribution Team, Operations, and Licensing teams to successfully service the broker channel.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provides broker support within a defined list of IFP markets.
- Maintains ownership for assigned service/operational deliverables.
- Manages a defined budget to deploy within broker groups for marketing and sponsorship.
- Partners with brokers and internal teams to align efforts to support the assigned broker community, including events, training, and co-op marketing opportunities, and work through book of business accuracy and support appointment/licensing efforts.
- Resolve customer issues on behalf of the broker community.
- Assist with monitoring and identifying service trends as requested, to allowing for immediate resolution of any service issues.
- Provides both standard and non-standard reporting/analytics as needed.
- Work on Ad-hoc Projects as needed.
- Collaborate and take immediate action to resolve operational/service-related issues; escalate issues when appropriate and drive recovery efforts.
- Coordinates deliverables with internal operational departments to ensure broker satisfaction and loyalty.
- Supports broker community with tactical functions; this include things such as password resets, Provide back up for the broker management team in the field when needed with conferences, events, or large broker meetings.
- Travels as needed to support the broker clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- 2-4 years of sales or account management experience recommended.
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office products, e-mail and the Internet.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Responsiveness, relationship building and Accountability
- Knowledge of the healthcare or insurance industry preferred.
- Strong focus on book of business broker satisfaction.
- Demonstrated ability managing projects, utilizing proven project management processes.
- Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and to resolve issues with the highest sense of urgency.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
