The Account Manager is a critical role in working directly with our advertising agency partners to execute on campaigns to meet client targets.Ā The role supports our sales team to ensure that all aspects of campaigns are performing above client expectations while updating, educating and building relationships with advertising users.Ā
The Account Manager facilitates the management of all aspects of the campaign internally working with our design team, the advertising operations team and our sellers while providing GumGum clients with an industry leading end-to-end experience.
Note: GumGum currently operates in a āwork from homeā virtual environment with sporadic opportunities for in-person business and morale events (health guidelines permitting). There will not be any requirement to go into the office on a daily basis moving forward. GumGum is only open to hiring remote candidates who are residents in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, MA, MD, MI, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and MN, however prefer candidates located in the East Coast.
What You'll Achieve
- Drive GumGumās renewal business
- Lead the charge in supporting GumGumās renewal business by providing GumGum clients with an industry leading end-to-end experience
- Build strategic account plans and relationships with GumGumās key clients
- Lead kickoff calls, campaign reviews, wrap decks to clients and key stakeholders to communicate optimizations to achieve revenue goals and scale growth.Ā
- Collaborate with sales and pre-sales strategy teams for growth of key accounts
- Support the Sales team in managing and executing strategic client opportunitiesĀ
- Understand the client pipeline and strategically use current campaign success to help secure revenue on future initiatives
- Spend ample time researching client campaigns and programs they are running outside of GumGum. (eg. Strategize how GumGum could be a potential fit, put together a plan to present to the client proactively, etc.)
- UncoverĀ incremental revenue opportunities for growth among existing accounts.
- Coordinate internal/external stakeholders and execute on sold campaigns
- Work with sellers to plan, manage, implement and execute sold advertising campaigns
- Review and approve IOs and billing reports to ensure correct and timely billing
- Work in tandem with clients and internal teams to traffic assets/creative/tags for campaign set up
- Review campaign performance daily to ensure performance is trending to achieve KPIs. Meet with Ad Ops to suggest campaign optimizations
- Assemble campaign wrap decks and final reports to highlight performance and learnings
- Provide feedback to the company on how to best service clients' needs
- Relationship management at the client level.
Skills You'll Bring
- BA/BS degree in Business (Advertising/Marketing) or similar experience
- 1-2 years of experience in the digital media field, preferably in online verticals - Account Management, Media Planning, Customer Service.
- Extreme attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills
- Familiarity with Atlas, Doubleclick, Comscore, Sizmek, MOAT, Integral Ad Science, Millward Brown, Salesforce, Nielsen, DoubleVerify and JIRA
- Proficient with online advertising terms, concepts, and revenue model
- Able to manage a variety of client needs while delivering on GumGumās reputation for excellent customer serviceĀ
- Diplomatically manage various stakeholders both internally and externally while delivering on client expectations
- Ability to balance competing demands in a high pressure environment to deliver on deadlines
- Highly self-motivated team player
- Open to on-going feedback while maintaining a growth mindset
- Self organized and proactive
