Join IG’s ‘The Agency’ as an Account Manager. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day client communications, coordinating projects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality creative work. As part of a connected global team, you'll work closely with the Account Director, strategy, the creative and operations teams in Johannesburg, and marketing stakeholders worldwide across IG Group's divisions, manage end-to-end campaigns and projects, and the creative assets they need to deliver on their plans for growth.

Your role in the team
Broadly, you’ll assist in managing the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across the IG Group. Your role will be to build and maintain stakeholder relationships and support the Account Director and Strategy Lead in driving strategic growth.
What you’ll do
As part of the Account Manager role, you will need to maintain exceptional delivery on the following core competencies:
- Support the Account Director in managing multiple high-priority projects and campaigns across the IG Group divisions
- Support the Account Director in managing day-to-day client communications and relationships
- Coordinate internal teams to execute advertising campaigns and projects
- Develop project briefs with stakeholders and the Strategy Lead
- Ensure timely delivery of work that meets stakeholder objectives and agency standards
- Assist in the development of strategic recommendations and presentations
- Monitor project progress and scope changes
- Identify opportunities for account growth and additional services

What you’ll need for this role
- 3-5 years of experience in advertising or marketing, at least 2 years in an account management role
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing communications
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Proficient in managing timelines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in English
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proactive problem-solver with a can-do attitude
- Team player who can collaborate across departments
- Passionate about advertising and creative work
- Adaptable and able to work well under pressure
