Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Primary contact and relationship manager for a single product or for the entire relationship depending on the size and tier of the supplier. This includes managing site performance to S+N expectations. Leads the S+N team to drive continuous improvement programs across multiple functions. Participates in strategic manufacturing decisions analysis to ensure the supply chain is optimized for cost and delivery.
- This position is a member of a matrix organization, in some cases may lead matrix teams, to drive projects both internally and externally as it relates to the relevant manufacturing operations. These projects can include activities like Technology Transfers, line and market extensions, process optimizations, validation activities, packaging changes, and the associated change management and project management.
- Monitoring and evaluation of CMO key deliverables and performance, ensuring on time, in full delivery of all products and projects at cost targets. Follows up on KPIs and ensure the CMO(s) consistently meets standards and expectations for contract obligations, compliance, quality, and production performance and that performance is documented. Responsibilities include, monitoring and following up on Deviations, CAPAs, and Change Requests.

Education:
- Preferred: Bachelors/Master degree (Life Sciences, Quality, Engineering, Business Management, or related field).
- Will accept High School diploma or equivalent with significant (5-10 years) experience
Experience:
- Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in Biotech/pharmaceutical/medical device cGMP manufacturing industry with manufacturing, supply chain, supplier relationship, or project management experience.
- Experience working in a factory setting preferred.
- Experience with biologics and solids/semi-solid manufacturing including a mix of parenteral filling, API and solid/semi-solid manufacturing, and finished goods production preferred.
Competences:
- Demonstrated project leadership skills and ability to develop effective working relationships with internal/external partners and cross-functional projects teams.
- Experience managing complex projects with multiple priorities, ability to self-manage, follow up, track schedules, independently assess/escalate/resolve issues quickly to deliver results.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills both verbal and written. Ability to communicate at different levels of the organization. Strong ability to assess order of priorities and juggle multiple tasks. Entrepreneurial spirit to identify opportunities and effectively resolve challenges.
Travel Requirements: As needed, up to 25%
