Account Manager
Job Description
The Account Manager plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This role is responsible for identifying upsell opportunities within our current client base, understanding their needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success and Technical Support, to deliver tailored solutions that provide value and drive customer success.
Key Objectives
Objective #1: Continuously Develop Existing Client Relationships:
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, serving as a trusted advisor and point of contact for their needs
- Understand client goals, challenges, and objectives, ensuring that upsell opportunities align with their strategic priorities
- Proactively engage with clients to uncover potential upsell opportunities by understanding their evolving needs and pain points
Objective #2: Improve and build out the Upsell Strategy and Execution for existing clients
- Identify and prioritize upsell opportunities within the existing client portfolio, working closely with the sales, product, and solutions teams
- Collaborate with clients to define their desired outcomes and propose tailored solutions that address their specific challenges and goals
- Create and present compelling proposals, business cases, and presentations to effectively communicate the value of upsell opportunities
Objective #3: Partner with the cross-functional teams to ensure that upsell solutions align with client needs and product capabilities

- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop targeted upsell campaigns, content, and collateral that resonate with clients
- Work closely with customer success and support teams to ensure seamless upsell execution and ongoing client satisfaction
Objective #4: Continuously assess and refine upsell strategies based on market trends, client feedback, and competitive landscape
- Meet or exceed upsell revenue targets and KPIs, contributing to the overall company revenue goals
- Monitor upsell pipeline and forecast, ensuring accurate reporting and proactive pipeline management
- Conduct thorough account analysis to identify upsell potential, considering usage patterns, adoption rates, and clients' evolving needs
Requirements
- 4+ years' experience of quota-based software Account Management
- Proven experience in account management or upselling within the SaaS, technology, or software industry
- Strong understanding of business process automation (BPA) solutions and the value they provide to clients
- Demonstrated success in upselling, exceeding revenue targets, and effectively managing client relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex solutions in a clear and compelling manner
- Customer-focused mindset, with the ability to understand and address client needs while building long-lasting relationships
