Account Manager
Job Description
SilverSky is a leading Managed Services Provider of Compliance and Security Solutions to small and medium sized businesses. Our client base includes customers in the financial services, retail, healthcare, energy, critical infrastructure and manufacturing sector.

In this role you will be responsible for managing a Tier 1 Territory – with a focus on net new revenue growth, products growth and retention. We are looking for a motivated individual who thrives working in a fast paced environment and is experienced working in SMB Accounts to drive significant growth.
What this role is responsible for:
- Account management and sales activities within 100 defined Tier 1 SMB Accounts
- Developing accurate plans and forecasts, prioritize efforts, building pipelines and closing MRR
- Deliver strategic plans to drive short and long term customer and revenue objectives
- Work as a team for the most efficient use and deployment of resources; collaborate with product management, marketing, and engineering teams to deliver company goals
- Work with Industry Bodies and SMES to stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, partners, and competitors; develop proactive strategies to maintain a competitive edge
What is needed to be successful:
- 5+ years of account management and sales experience for a high growth technology company.
- Strong interpersonal and customer facing skills.
- Track record of executive stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with selling SAAS solutions.
- Highly motivated self-starter.
- Experience within the Managed Security Services (MSS) sector.
- Track record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas personally.
