Job Summary
The Account Manager or Marketing Consultant will recruit new advisors to contract with DFS M Inc. to sell its annuities as well as retain and increase the sales of existing producers. Additionally, the MC will work to enhance and reinforce the DFS Marketing brand through superior service. Duties include management of outbound marketing activity and effective handling and servicing of inbound inquiries from advisors.

- Meet or exceed guidelines for outbound call volumes
- Provide sufficient phone coverage during business hours
- Develop insurance product knowledge of features and benefits. Effectively position solutions with advisors and agents
- Become well versed in all aspects of the DFS M Inc. value add program
- Build an understanding of key competitors to DFS M Inc. and have the ability to effectively position our firm against them with advisors and agents
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the CRM system and ensure complete and accurate data input
- Master all facets of the DFS M Inc. brand track and effectively relate it with advisors and agents
- Sell 2 Federal Retirement Program trainings per week
- Assist in training personnel on above items
- Establishing product research and analysis capability including illustrations to provide excellent product sales support to our advisors
- Assist in developing sales strategies to increase the number of recruited agents and the productivity of the territory
- Assist in the development of sales ideas to meet specific investor needs, and share those ideas with advisors
- Become a "lead" expert on one of our insurance carriers, and maintain a research manual on the company
- Develop and maintain a "position requirements" manual
- Will define and record vital tasks to performing day to day operations
- Will serve as a "continuation" plan in the event of prolonged absence
- Will help institutionalize data in building the sales organization
