The Account Manager (AM) at Human Element is responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with our clients through regular interaction, consistent attention to, and improvement of, the client's strategy.

The Account Manager (AM) at Human Element is responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with our clients through regular interaction, consistent attention to, and improvement of, the client's strategy.
Responsibilities
- Operates as the lead point of contact for relationship building, escalations, contracts, sales opportunities and strategic vision.
- Establishes and maintains strong client and internal relationships.
- Acts as a trusted advisor and advocate for both the client and internal teams. Proactively communicates with internal stakeholders to ensure client goals are being exceeded.
- Manages client escalations and conflict resolution.
- Ensures client's business objectives and KPIs are captured, understood, and measurable.
- Collaborate with the sales team to onboard new clients and finalize contracts.
- Guide clients through agency orientation and properly set the client's expectations.
- Identifies and maintains a detailed pipeline and forecast for each account. Proactively provide updates and communication about open opportunities within the organization.
- Consistently meets and exceeds quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Utilizes customer relationship management (CRM) and maintains other tracking tools, scorecards and documents.
- Actively participates in the billing process. Tracks invoices against contracts, assists with billing discrepancies and past due accounts.
- Identifies, grows and closes new opportunities within existing accounts.Creates contracts for new projects and services and drives the opportunity from identification to completion.
- Supports Project Managers and collaborates with Strategists to support successful delivery of projects.
- Partners with project managers to win additional business and expand upon the client's engagement.
- Partners with sales team to onboard new clients and finalize contracts etc.
- Support the delivery team and client in website launches
- Attends and participates in team and company-wide meetings
- Adhere and uphold the Human Element core values at all times
- Be available and willing to help the team when needed
- Stays up to date with industry trends, including eCommerce, Magento and Adobe

Requirements
- 3 years of relevant experience experience in an account management related role selling consulting services.
- Experience creating proposals and contracts, as well as contract negotiations.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of the ecommerce market to be able to consult clients on a business level.
- Experience with the current ecommerce landscape, technologies and trends.
- Conflict resolution and problem solving skills, including active listening.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management both internally and externally.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple accounts in parallel.
- Experience managing clients in web development projects.
Desired Experience
- Agency experience as an Account Manager, Client Services and /or Business Development
- Working knowledge of Magento or other ecommerce platforms
