OLIVER is a global marketing agency. Our skilled creative talents are dedicated to high-profile clients and are based either onsite, near site or offsite in our hubs.
OLIVER partnered with adidas in 2015, building out a language localization team. Since then, we have launched teams spanning from shoot production to toolkit creation and, most recently, a global centralized adaptation team. With an unmatched history and tradition of creating iconic products, consumer connections and experiences, adidas has been defining sport culture since the beginning. And they’re not done. We have worked with adidas to build a dedicated global centralized adaptation team, delivering all their localized remastering and adaptation needs.
Our team supports adidas’s global markets from our centralized offices as well as being onsite/near-site with the clients in these markets. Our support spans from eCommerce, social, print and retail content needs, working at the heart of their business.

The Account Manager develops and builds strong relationships with the local clients across the North America market, becoming a trusted and valued partner and delivery specialist. Reporting to the Account Director based in Portland, OR, you will oversee the successful delivery of adidas’ in-market campaign portfolio and its cultural nuances.
The role delivers an exceptional level of client service and creative thinking, as well as having an active role in driving efficiencies and lead growth across all categories. You will have experience working in an integrated post-production environment and delivering high volumes of adaptations, collaborating with a network of creatives across the globe.
What you will be doing:- You will work in true collaboration with your client to establish a deep understanding of the business; their needs, expectations and requirements in order to provide first-class service and positive client experience. You will be proactive and forward-thinking, working closely with your clients to forecast in-line with market activity calendars, priorities and scope.
- You will be responsible for the adidas brand guardianship; working closely with your clients to create strong concepts from initial briefing, provide insightful feedback and understanding markets’ local nuances to successful high-quality delivery of assets. You will have strong passion for sport and particularly for the adidas brand, maintaining deep consumer and industry insights.
- You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects within the North America market. Working with your clients to initiate and scope new briefs, managing pipeline of work, preparing production-ready briefs for creatives, allocating required resources, designing project plans for delivery and ensuring the accurate interpretation of WIP feedback during the creative process. You will ensure project plans are communicated internally and externally for stakeholder alignment, whilst identifying and mitigating against project risks at all times.
- Delivering projects following best practices, delivering minimal versions, meeting deadlines and managing scope.
- You will have a wealth of experience working with global creative toolkits and localization, and should already understand the processes and nuances for delivering high volumes of adaptation work. You ideally come from a background in production with a strong delivery skill set and a solutions-focused approach.
- You will support your SCM and Account managing priorities within the market, escalating potential issues and bottlenecks where necessary.
- You will be responsible for the management, collaboration and facilitation of our creative teams, striving to find solutions on day-to-day challenges and decision points. You’ll have the ability to drive and motivate a team, ensuring they remain focused and connected through to successful project completion.
- You will develop strong relationships with adidas’ other external agencies, including their creative origination agencies, media agencies, printers etc. As the connecting agency within the process, you will be ensuring we get the work from the creative agencies on time and then deliver to the media agencies and printers within their timelines.
- 3+ years of relevant advertising agency experience, working with high volume production across; Paid Media, digital, print, retail, social, eCommerce, OOH, TV. Sports and lifestyle category is a bonus.
- Strong client-facing presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and lead others.
- Excellent client engagement & communication skills, with the ability to proactively influence and negotiate, to build strong effective working relationships.
- A strong team player, able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills with a proactive approach.
- Comfortable with working with remote clients and functional team in different time zones and cultures.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, highly detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task a must.
- Flawless execution and delivery of projects on time, on budget, and with excellence.
- Great understanding of project finances and commercials – estimating, timings, costs and invoicing.
- A strategic thinker, able to think analytically at a detailed level, with good numerical skills.
- A problem solving and solution-focused mindset that thrives in fast paced environment, with high volumes of activity.
- Able to handle challenging situations and act appropriately.
- Good negotiation skills and ability to close deals quickly.
- Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to and drive change.
- A commitment to high-quality output and service, with an eye for detail.
- Manages conflict in a positive and assertive manner for the best outcome.
- Functional knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator InDesign and After Effects and what they’re used for.
