Where do you fit?

Onit’s commercial business has an immediate opening for an Account Manager to immediately impact revenue. We are looking for a self-starting, talented, enthusiastic, and dedicated person to join our growing account management organization. This position is quota bearing and responsible for leading renewals, cross sales, and up-sales into a portfolio of current customers. The Account Manager will lead renewals and sales cycles to close opportunities delivering added value to customers and new revenue for the business.

Critical for success in this role is building strong subject matter expertise across Onit’s product lines and the legal market more broadly to drive awareness of the value available through the company’s multiple solutions. Also key for the successful Account Manager is building strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues in Management, Accounting, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing.

Job Location: Hybrid from our offices in Houston or Austin, TX.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primary owner of account renewals, cross sales, and value strategy for the customer
  • Drive awareness of the added value available to customers through solutions across the Onit portfolio of solutions
  • Build and develop trusted advisor relationships with customers following a 3x3 strategy
  • In partnership with the Marketing and Customer Success organizations engage in customer meetings, webinars, and events
  • Partner with Marketing in the development of customer references, testimonials, and events
  • Maintain sales information in CRM, including contact/meeting history, usage information, account plans, renewals, and cross sell/up-sell opportunities
  • Prepare internal reports and account plans for meeting and exceeding quota
  • Maintain and grow sales by identifying new upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Analyze sales KPIs, trends, growth/lost business, upsell opportunities and provide actionable recommendations for team improvements

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Highly motivated, disciplined self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Polished ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels and layers within an organization including executive and C-level
  • Experience delivering customer-focused solutions that drive increased revenue
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced, self-directed, and entrepreneurial environment
  • Must be comfortable managing multiple tasks and projects in real time while maintaining a high level of detail
  • Experience using Salesforce.com (or other CRM)
  • 4-year degree strongly preferred
  • The ideal candidate is someone who has experience in the legal industry, the contract lifecycle space, or SaaS sales
  • Travel for this role is +/- 10%
