Account Manager
Job Description
The Account Manager plays a critical role on our Client Development team by renewing, stabilizing and expanding the value for a named list of existing Euromonitor client accounts. Account Managers find new executives and teams within existing client organizations to engage and support, thus broadening the impact Euromonitor has with our client base. Client Development AMs also work with existing users to better our understanding of their challenges and needs. This information is then used to develop service strategies as well as new product developments.
Specifically, the Client Development AM will make an impact by:
- Managing the overall existing syndicated partnership with client organizations; this includes conducting quarterly calls with main contacts, negotiating contract renewals, providing training to key user groups, researching client accounts to understand their needs/goals and creating actionable business/account plans which outline your service & sales strategies
- Being a confident and fair negotiator, seeking to create mutually beneficial agreements, ensure long term partnerships and achievement of renewal targets
- Scheduling and leading calls/meetings with clients to understand their needs and strategies (while also adding value in those discovery conversations) in order to help them leverage our services
- Expanding our network of contacts within existing client organizations
- Identifying opportunities to add value to client relationships by helping clients maximize the use of their existing resources
- Providing feedback to our product development and research teams, serving as the internal "voice of the customer"
Requirements
- A desire to meet and achieve goals
- Intellectual curiosity, along with a competitive spirit
- 3-5+ years of sales experience, demonstrating continued success in those roles
- Goal-oriented and consistently at or over target
- "Gritty"; consistently approaching challenges head-on; asks "why not" as opposed to "why"
- Comfort interacting with executives within various levels and functions
- Highly organized with excellent time management, managing numerous contacts including scheduling, follow up, and establishing frequent points of interaction.
- International perspective
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal colleagues
- Willingness to travel and mature enough to set your own travel strategy
- Bachelors required
