Job Description

The role of the Account Manager at foreUP is best described as being a Trusted Advisor. This requires intimate knowledge of all aspects of the foreUP software and the customer's needs.

Responsibilities

The Account Manager typically owns the current customer relationships as the face of foreUP. For this position, the ideal candidate will have experience selling marketing services into both new and existing accounts. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Act as key point of contact for existing accounts on top of the customer support team
  • Maintain and develop existing client relationships through various levels of communication including on-site meetings, regular conference calls, web meetings
  • Selling Marketing Services into new and current accounts.
  • Prospecting, Qualifying, Lead Generation.
  • Develop relationships through various levels of communication including on-site meetings, regular conference calls, web meetings and email communication.
  • Collaborate with Sales to drive cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
  • Drive and measure all initiatives, products, or services.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for cancellation requests

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence others
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask

In summary, the Account Manager is ultimately responsible for owning the long-term relationship of his or her key account(s) and is motivated and rewarded by driving client retention, driving enhanced business solutions, and identifying opportunities to extend products and services into the client account. The desired outcomes that an Account Manager will be measured by increased retention and satisfaction rates, increased utilization of additional products and services (adoption), and an increase in overall lifetime value (MRR/ARR) of each account.
