The agency is growing and we are looking for an Account Manager who is passionate about nurturing and growing client relationships to join our team. Reporting into the head of account services and working closely with the full Point to Point leadership team, this position will play a critical role in ensuring our clients' success by serving as the primary point of contact for their marketing needs.
You will work closely with our clients to understand their business objectives, and collaborate with the internal team on solution development and execution of campaigns and intiatives that drive measureable results. This position is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of B2B marketing, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for client satisfaction and business growth.
If you are a resourceful and determined problem solver with high accountability, you just might be the Pointer we are looking for. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with prior agency and digital marketing experience, is required.
Responsibilities:
- Act as primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients
- Responsible for understanding the client's business challenges and needs, current and future, and able to clearly articulate those to the internal PTP team
- Responsible for managing the day-to-day client relationship and sold work while driving continued growth across all clients within the assigned portfolio
- Identify & escalate issues or opportunities to the head of Account Services for help with solution development
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, including 3rd party agencies as required, to harmonize cross-functional client communications
- Responsible for writing clear and accurate statements of work and project briefs
This position will ideally be based in one of the following markets*:
- Cleveland, OH (our home base)
- Chicago, IL
*You will need to be able to travel to Cleveland, OH and other markets for meetings as needed.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required
- 5 years professional experience required; 2-3 years agency experience preferred
- Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to shifts in projects or business environment
- Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy, shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines
- Ability to anticipate client feedback & proactively address concerns
- Understanding of building materials space preferred
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills; captivating presenter and great listener, high level of integrity
- Excellent ability to work with internal teams collaboratively to drive outcomes clients love
- Experience in navigating complex organizations, creative problem solving, and experimentation
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and colleagues
- Great at working independently but collaborating on projects when needed
- Ability to integrate diverse viewpoints and opinions
