Account Manager
A successful Account Manager is capable of thriving in an innovative and fast paced agency and should have extensive client facing experience and be skilled in building strong relationships. An ability to anticipate client needs before they arise is also key. You should also have a sense of urgency that matches whatever situation is at hand. Critical to the role is an ability to analyze and strategize around what our clients' needs and wants are.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Manage new business development opportunities
- Work with existing business accounts on building a longterm strategy that achieves their annual company goals.
- Update clients on the status of their large initiatives and respond to any questions or concerns they may have.
- Analyze current client business needs and become an expert in offering IWD and 3rd part solutions that will help them.
- Strategize and offer suggestions to grow and enhance client sites.
- Monitor client activity and deescalate any tensions or conflicts that may arise on the account.
- Maintain excellent communication and relationships with colleagues.
- Manage Relationships with growing partners
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent communication skills. The ability to diffuse difficult situations and turn them into raving fans.
- Tech savvy, easily learn new technologies and tools.
- Organized, detail-oriented.
- Ability to interpret and analyze large amounts of data, and use it to give a client insight on how it can lead to business growth.
- Ability to know the roles and personalities of colleagues to ensure the continued progress of a project.
- Efficient time management & task prioritization.
- Ability to work US hours (Central time zone) is critical.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- 3+ years of a client facing managerial role.
Compensation
- $50,000 base salary + commission
