THE TEAM 

We're at the creative, cutting-edge of fashion. It's our job to source emerging boutiques and spot trends, as well as working with the world's biggest luxury brands. The Commercial team in the US consists of Business Development, Brand (E-Concessions) Management, and Account (Boutique) Management. We collaborate with almost every team across the business, which keeps things varied and exciting! From building relationships with our supply partners (brands and boutiques) to making sure that all of our products look beautiful on our site; we have a big part to play in everything we do. 


THE ROLE

This role is responsible for managing, optimizing and growing the sales & supply of a subset of our North American (US + Canada) boutique partnerships. You will build strong relationships with boutiques across various sizes, working with the wider commercial team and other Farfetch team members ensuring boutiques are actively engaged to drive business results. 


You will be the primary point of contact for boutiques when trading on the platform, collaborating with the local & central Commercial team on overall partnership strategy and responsible for empowering our boutique partners with insights to enhance their performance. We expect this person to work in a manner perceived by our supply partners as professional, with expert knowledge, creative and innovative, and ultimately trusted advisers in the industry. 


We’re looking for an analytical, commercially minded, strategic thinker, who is confident in managing complicated cross-functional projects and influencing change across senior stakeholders, both internal and external.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • You will maintain outstanding client relationships through effective communications, reporting and problem solving.
  • You will manage a group of boutiques through sound business management and strategic planning, turning knowledge & data into focused action. 
  • You will proactively seek, maintain and update knowledge on each boutique’s status, seasonal & future plans to assess full potential and further growth opportunities through the Farfetch sales channel. 
  • You will leverage your commercial relationships with powerful insights to grow stock of in demand brands, be proactive in identifying opportunities to optimize and drive topline results.
  • You will negotiate and plan markdown & promotional strategy with boutiques. 
  • You will regularly review boutique business performance with external stakeholders. 
  • You will conduct regular business reviews internally to senior management. 
  • You will work with internal operational & tech teams ensuring that boutique supply partners are online with the right stock quality/quantity to optimize the Farfetch customer experience. 
  • You will support complicated cross functional projects with supply partners (covering but not limited to: technology, operations, commercial and marketing workstreams)

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have a bachelor’s degree with a strong quantitative component
  • You have 4-6 years commercial experience with a emphasis on business to business relations
  • You have strong relationships in luxury, ecommerce, retail or fashion industries
  • You have excellent planning and organisational skills; expertise to manage and improve complex projects
  • You have exceptional analytical and quantitative problem solving skills
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with (occasional) ambiguity
  • You are a strategic thinker with an emphasis on operational excellence
  • You are commercially minded - strong focus on business growth with ability to work towards metrics and targets
  • You have project management experience, preferably in technology / digital / e-commerce
  • You have the ability to influence senior characters internally and externally
  • Strong stakeholder management
