Account Manager
Job Description
The ABOUT Account Manager works directly with the sales and client outcomes teams to grow market share through the acquisition, retention, and expansion of clients and their associated book of business. The Account Manager is responsible for creating strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders to secure every contract and renewal supporting our business which includes legacy Cerner embedded and standalone Ensocare clients. What you will do:
- Serve as the sales and client outcomes teams' central intake for clients, preparing and delivering sales proposals and/or product information requests by leveraging ABOUT branded collateral.
- Complete Requests for Proposals/Information (RFP/RFI) and similar sales due diligence requests, including managing deadlines, compiling information from multiple internal sources, and making sure content complies with ABOUT brand and guidelines.
- In collaboration with sales and client outcomes teams, construct client assessments, maturity maps and business reviews materials and presentations.
- Own, drive and manage the renewal and contract expansion process in coordination with the sales and client outcomes teams.
- Perform account maintenance by working across the organization to resolve customer concerns, account issues, and escalated support inquiries.
- Support sales and client outcomes teams in the creation meaningful meeting materials and contribute to client interactions, virtually and onsite (as needed).
- Assist in crafting broad client communication/alerts when needed.
- Collaborate cross functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to execute against customer goals and implementation plans.
- Performs other duties as assigned for clients.
- Travel 10-25%.
You Experience Entails:
Need to Have:
- Based out of the Minneapolis / St Paul Area
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, marketing or equivalent
- 5+ years' of account management and/or marketing and/or sales support experience in the healthcare industry
Nice to Have:
- Working knowledge of Post-Acute Care (PAC) offerings, services and products within healthcare
- Working knowledge of healthcare EHRs
- Prior experience working in a private equity-funded organization.
- Healthcare technology experience.
- Prior experience working with a variety of EHRs and other PAC partners.
Required Knowledge and Skills

- Computer applications and systems related to the work.
- Principles and practices to serving as an effective project team member.
- Methods to communicate with staff, coworkers, and customers to ensure safe, effective and appropriate operations.
- Correct business English, including spelling, grammar and punctuation.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Mobility to work in an office setting, use standard office equipment and stamina to sit for extended periods of time; strength to lift and carry up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed materials and computer screens; and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone.
Travel as needed to support company and customer initiatives, requiring compliance with the ABOUT COVID-19 Vaccine Policy; this role requires the COVID-19 vaccine, with at least one dose prior to first day of work for new hires.
