As a Global Patient Services Account Manager, you will help bring the world to Cleveland Clinic. As part of our team, you will be coordinating the needs and appointments of our international patients who have traveled the world for care at the Cleveland Clinic. Our international patients require a higher touch and have expectations for service outside of normal working hours, so we try to have a flexible schedule to meet their needs as well as yours.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
-Is fluent in Arabic or Spanish.
-Preferably has previous experience working with VIP patients and diplomats.
-Works well in a fast-paced environment.
-Is a team player and a great problem solver.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Provides support and targets additional business opportunities for hospitals, physicians and other clients as assigned.
- Addresses client problems focusing on improving service levels and up-selling additional business from clients.
- Develops and maintains a high level of understanding of assigned product lines and presents these in context to client needs.
- Works with Internal team to prepare high quality bids and proposals in response to assigned client opportunities and Requests for Proposals (RFP's).
- Adheres to the Cleveland Clinic rules and regulations (written or implied).
- Contributes to sales meetings, presentations, and attends training courses, recognizing the value of one's own contribution to those events.
- Develops and maintains knowledge and experience of relevant clinical methods and technologies.
- Responsible for all communications with assigned business portfolio.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferably in Life Sciences).
Certifications:
- None required.
Complexity of Work:
- Must exercise creativity and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients.
- Must possess the ability to learn, use and understand clinical information systems as well as Microsoft Office and other PC applications.
- Must be a confident, motivated self-starter and demonstrate flexibility, initiative, customer focus and the ability to handle stress.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of three years in sales, business development, and account management or equivalent clinical related experience required.
- Previous sales experience in hospital/medical setting preferred.
- Offset: High School diploma/GED and six years of experience.
- Offset: Associate's degree and four years of experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires the ability to sit and be stationary for prolonged periods of time.
- Normal or corrected vision.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to perform work on a personal computer.
- Requires the ability to walk to various locations throughout the main campus and drive to various CCHS locations and external clients.
- Ability to function in a stressful, fast-paced environment.
