Work location: Europe – Luxembourg, home and office based
SRS Management Luxembourg (SRS), a leading independent captive insurance management firm, is looking for an experienced insurance accounting professional to join its European servicing team. The successful candidate will have 5 years’ experience in the captive insurance industry to manage the financial and regulatory affairs of a portfolio of captive insurance companies and risk retention groups. The position does require fluency in French/English language. Prior experience and knowledge of local Luxembourg regulatory filing system and process highly desirable.
Responsibilities and Duties:

• Preparing financial statements
• Maintaining accounting records and work papers
• Preparation of local regulatory filings, including Solvency II statements
• Managing client communications
• Co-ordination of the audit of client companies
• Preparing for and attending Board of Director meetings
• Liaising with the Luxembourg insurance regulator (CAA)

Attributes and Skills:

• Fully Qualified Accountant
• Ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ financial accounting experience
• Comprehensive and up-to-date technical knowledge and practical experience of insurance accounting
• Self-motivation with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where superb time management and prioritization skills are essential
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Accounting Degree or equivalent
