Job Description
The Account Manager is passionate about getting the job done. We like to think of the AM as the ultimate project manager who knows their client's deliverables inside and out. The AM assists in executing all marketing activities driving their client's business. Quick on their feet, they anticipate the entire process, from who is involved to what needs to be done. We are looking for an Account Manager for a Fortune 50 oil and gas company.
What you will do:
- Ensures client projects and requests are addressed, accounted for, and in progress within the agency and sometimes with outside partners
- Takes charge of all the logistics of an account with scheduling, file management, and quick acknowledgment of client emails/calls
- Lead some projects on your own with guidance from an Account Supervisor or Director.
- Contribute to the Client's business through a thorough understanding of the creative product, your role in its creation, and knowledge of the Client, their business, and their consumers.
- Think, act, and respond intelligently while engaging in teamwork and owning projects.
- Radiate confidence to relay crucial information to the appropriate team(s).
Skill set you bring:
- 2-5 years of marketing/advertising experience; agency experience preferred
- Proven experience in effective project management
- Strong delegation + facilitation skills
- Good presentation skills both in-person and over the phone
- Confident writing skills that are free of typos and grammatical errors
- Solution-oriented
- Impeccable time management skills
- Fast-paced environment readiness
- Eager to constantly learn, receive feedback, and adapt quickly
