Beacon Platform was founded in 2014 by Kirat Singh and Mark Higgins, industry leaders in building and designing enterprise-scale trading, analytics, and risk management platforms. Beacon is looking for dedicated , ambitious, and self-driven candidates with a passion for helping others to support, identify and win new business within designated client accounts. The senior technical account management role is responsible for obtaining profitable results by developing, building strong relationships with our clients, analyzing business and technical requirements, and developing solutions that meet these needs. In some cases, whilst identifying cross sell/upsell opportunities, they may work with sales engineering, strategy, and product development to customize products for clients to help achieve their technical goals and overcome technical challenges.
Responsibilities and Duties- Have a strong account management background in capital markets having worked with sell or buyside organizations.
- At least 10 years’ experience selling complex solutions within the Capital Markets industry.
- Excellent product and technical knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong presentation and client facing skills with the ability to articulate a technical solution and the ability and knowledge to explain the benefits and features to the client.
- Identify the services and support clients will need to make effective and productive use of Beacon products. Project Management and strong Business Analysis skills required to create technical installation programs that minimize disruption for clients.
- Monitor product and technical performance and identify opportunities to cross sell/upsell or to modify products so they meet customer needs more effectively.
- Provide reports on the technical health of the client to the wider Beacon org and advise customers on new solutions or products that may be suitable for their business.
- Hold regular review meetings with clients to discuss any issues or problems and provide feedback to the wider organization.
- Develop and nurture client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships.
- Be the main point of contact in all commercial matters relating to client concerns and needs.
- Manage accurate client records , including detailed strategic account plans , contract updates and renewals.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross sell to clients.
- Work with sales and other internal teams to develop strategic account management and marketing plans and ensure KPI’s are met.
- Ensure opportunities are accurately reflected and updated in Salesforce.com. Have strong attention to detail and process.
- Prepare for meetings and tailor communications to address business needs of potential clients.
- Work closely with the Beacon Customer Success team to improve overall client satisfaction.
- Provide weekly updates , monthly forecasts and quarterly committed forecasts of account management sales activity and volume to the management team.
Expected Salary Range: $150,000-$175,000
