Postion Summary:
This position will direct key sales and marketing activities to maximize volume and margin in order to achieve the highest return on net assets for the milling division.
Essential Functions:
• Sell grain products to food, beverage and industrial companies• Meets personal sales targets as established, incorporating the full range of products/services within identified markets or geography• Understands commodity markets and is able to transfer that understanding into competitive sales pricing with our customers• Typical accounts would be challenging, high complexity, diverse customers that require ongoing client relationships• Develop plan to establish and maintain account relationships and meet personal sales targets• Develops business plan for each account segment• Coordinates use of other Company resources (e.g. technical, advertising) to provide value added services to accounts• Independently prepares sales presentations and proposals to ensure successful outcome of transactions• Develop strong client relationships, which over time provide significant input to planning company product, price and service strategies• Support supervisors and other sales professional in developing new market opportunities in the market• Coordinates transportation needs between customers and plants• Analyze and coordinate the production and packaging mix to optimize run-time and supply chain efficiency with operations, packing/loading and logistics managers• Address customer credit and receivable issues as needed

Skills/Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Business, Ag Economics and/or Marketing preferred • Minimum of two to six years' experience it sales, food ingredient sales experience preferred. • Knowledge of commodity trading and structure.• Solid logistics understanding - pricing, equipment types and export dynamics • Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to interpret data • Proficient in MS Office; basic SAP skills preferred • Must be a self-starter with ability to work on own initiative • Ability to travel up to 10%
