Job Description

 Role Purpose

LevelTen Energy is looking for a highly motivated, results-driven sales professional to manage a group of key corporate energy buyer accounts. As Account Manager, Buyer Engagement you will be responsible for a stated contract value target by moving prospects through the sales cycle in a professional and efficient manner and nurturing existing customer relationships. A LevelTen Account Manager is a brand ambassador, and a crucial part of the growth of the company.

 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generate and drive new business opportunities with corporate energy buyers through prospecting and networking within a specific set of named accounts;
  • Manage corporate buyer customers through PPA auction, bilateral, and RFP deal executions;
  • Generate leads for growing portfolio of LevelTen product solutions;
  • Conduct well-informed and consultative meetings with senior level executives to demonstrate the business value of the LevelTen Energy renewable energy procurement marketplace;
  • Provide up-to-date and accurate forecasts by actively updating customer and opportunity records in the company’s CRM system;
  • Own and coordinate all aspects of the sale from introduction through to signed final documents;
  • Leverage and coordinate cross-functional internal teams to efficiently navigate complex sales cycles;
  • Promote value via customer experience and maintain customer satisfaction with LevelTen Energy;
  • Travel up to 25% to visit accounts, attend conferences as needs dictate.

Qualifications

 The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2-4 years track record of winning new business opportunities in the energy space (for example Energy Efficiency, Demand Response, Utilities, Retailer, Renewable Energy, Software, Data, Renewable Energy Financing);
  • 1-2 years experience with full sales cycle selling web-based software as a service (SaaS), data and/or services subscriptions to Fortune 500 companies (preferred);
  • Excellent lead development capabilities;
  • Ability to nurture existing relationships and maintain customer satisfaction and retention;
  • Proven track record of consistent goal/quota attainment;
  • Discipline in regard to CRM use and detailed data entry;
  • Ability to thrive in a constantly changing and evolving work environment;
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills - strong phone skills are required;
  • Exceptional attention to detail;
  • A can-do attitude, strong sense of urgency, and ability to see opportunity where others see a closed door.

Additional Details

  • The estimated compensation for this position is $100,000-115,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Corporate Bonus Plan first 6 months, Variable compensation plan after 6 months. In addition, this position is eligible for an equity grant.
  • Seattle or Denver-based candidates preferred. Remote candidates with renewables experience will be considered.
