Job Summary:
The Account Manager role is a critical role on an account team here at iHeartMedia. Responsibilities within the role exist from pre to post sale, and success in the role will rely heavily on the ability and willingness to become an indispensable resource to Sales and ultimately our client. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with both sales/account strategy, project management and campaign/event execution.

Responsibilities include:

Pre-Sale:
  • Partner with Sales leads to develop and deliver materials for RFP/proposal submissions including media recommendations, research, competitive data and various client requests
  • Partnering with Media Strategy team to create added value media plans, and work closely with client/agency on added value approvals and execution
  • Partner with internal teams like Sales Development & National Programming Group to vet ideas on a case-by-case basis
  • Attend sales meetings and conference calls with Sales Leads and clearly detail developments and next steps


Post-Sale:
  • Manage and execute all complex, integrated and Tier 1 plans and proposals for P&G to ensure client satisfaction. Upon sale, confirm all media and facilitate orders, contracts, and communicating final details to all internal teams.
  • Owner of all post-campaign recap/reporting/delivery metrics and materials.
  • Coordinate communications across NSMP Billing departments and facilitate billing with key clients


Account Management
  • Project management of SAG-AFTRA process (internal and external) inclusive of but not limited to; liaising with Paymaster, diligent organization and tracking of various creative assets, plus regular pacing reports
  • Owner and leader of weekly internal and/or external Account status meetings, including agenda and next steps
  • Owner of pacing report for P&G, with inputs from Sales BU leads
  • Tracks elements of the P&G agreement, included but not limited to added value, SAG fees, and research projects
  • Closely monitor and surface client strategies and industry trends to internal teams


Requirements:
  • Proven account management or other relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on client needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • 5+ years of experience with agency background desirable
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
  • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
