Role Summary
The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for managing and servicing an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance clients. In this role, you will act as the main point of contact, addressing client needs, processing renewals, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages and industry trends, as well as excellent communication and time management skills.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the main point of contact for all service needs of your assigned book of business.
- Assess and evaluate renewal requests for compliance with underwriting guidelines, providing assistance when needed.
- Work with Account Associates to ensure tasks related to assigned accounts, including binding coverage, invoicing, and collecting premiums are handled properly.
- Focus on client retention, working collaboratively with the Sales Consultant to ensure a high retention rate.
- Manage customer requests and correspondence related to assigned clients, covering desks for the team as needed.
- Stay informed about rates, forms, and coverage changes, and acquire knowledge of the company's submissions and proposals process for policies.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Property & Casualty insurance license required
- 5+ years of Account Management ExperienceÂ
- Proficiency in Applied Systems, electronic signature platforms, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and related tools
