Account Manager - Global Trade Management
Job Description
Grow the sales revenue of existing large accounts through cross-sales and up-sales of company software platforms and services. Guide the customer account planning cycle to ensure existing client needs and expectations are met. Duties include:
1. Achieve sales quota and assigned accounts objectives to retain revenue streams with large existing clients;
2. Expand software and services through cross-sales and up-sales;
3. Develop and execute strategic sales plans by utilizing marketing strategies, account penetration, and complex sales process management;
4. Assess, clarify, and validate customers' trade and supply chain needs on an on-going basis, including for existing products, to examine the effectiveness of installed products and determine future operational needs;
5. Partner with sales, services, and marketing teams in other regions, when needed, to support our global customers, with a specific focus on the US, Canada, and Mexico.
40% domestic travel required to attend sales meetings.
May telecommute part of the week from commuting distance to Carrollton, TX in accordance with the company's flexible working policy.
Position Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Systems Engineering, Finance, or a closely related field followed by 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience in a sales engineer-related occupation.
Experience must include the following, which may have been gained concurrently:
1) 3 years of experience selling supply chain trade software and complex trade compliance solutions and services to multi-national companies;
2) 3 years of trade compliance and supply chain trade experience in North America, including Mexico and Canada;
3) 3 years of experience with project management related to software implementations or supply chain processes;
4) 3 years of experience working with customers who leverage the IMMEX Maquiladora Program for North America in Mexico;
5) 3 years of experience working with customers who apply and leverage free trade agreements in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions;
6) 3 years of experience working with customers who operate in free trade zones, both in manufacturing and distribution;
7) 3 years of experience in logistics' end-to-end operations, including multimodal transportation systems, distribution processes, and Order to Delivery;
8) 3 years of experience working with customers on complex automotive, consumer goods, medical, and defense manufacturing processes.
