Account Manager II (Small group exp)
Job Description
Position Purpose: Manages relationships with small employer accounts. Responsible for managing relationships with brokers, renewing business and ensuring a positive experience for all small group employer customers within territory
• Develops and executes on retention and ancillary upsell strategies for assigned Small Group Book of Business
Negotiates renewal and consults on benefit plan design.• Manages and coordinates project work of clients.• Strategize with client on benefit design and account administrative developments and forecasting.• Develops relationship with assigned brokers to gather information regarding client needs.• Coordinates with other departments to ensure information regarding responsibilities with respect to renewing client is communicated.• Responsible for ensuring profitability of book of business.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Sales, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.Three to five years professional or supervisory experience in an HMO or other managed care organization.
Pay range: $76,100 to $136,700 per year
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. The employee may be eligible for bonuses and other forms of compensation.
