Account Management Intern
We are looking for an enthusiastic Account Manager Intern to join our team. This position will be responsible for providing support and new ideas to ensure client success. Account Management Interns are also responsible for executing project-based and strategic plans in coordination with Account Executives. This position requires attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency around task completion and the ability to exercise good judgement. A successful Account Management Intern will be organized and able to multi-task effectively. This position will offer the ability to learn and adapt to the evolving needs of a fast-growing company.
Location: Dallas, TX
This internship will be onsite on our Downtown Dallas office.
Requirements
- Support Account Management/Executive team with delivering exceptional client work
- Support the definition and coordination of tasks and resources to ensure contract deliverables are on target to meet milestones, objectives, and goals
- Participate in projects detailed for the Internship program
- Help with the creation of project plans, outline tasks and timelines while ensuring and monitoring project progress
- Work cross-functionally within the company to communicate with stakeholders on needs directly tied to Client success
- Execute tactical components of the Account Executive's business plan for assigned clients
- Assist with developing communication plans for clients
- Escalate issues and concerns to Management
Skills and Experience
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor degree; preferred fields in Business, Business Administration, or Healthcare Management
- Ability to commit to an 8-10-week program working 15/hours per week
- Motivated team play with a positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter & proactive mindset
- You have interest in project management, account management or similar role within the healthcare or benefits industry
- Exceptional organizational skills including attention to detail, multi-tasking, and time management
- Process-driven and analytical thinker
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
