Key Job Responsibiltiesβ€’ Drive direct and indirect distributor sales performance and meet sales targets by reviewing global distributor performance with branches including top/bottom customers, GPL trends, new product performance and competitive cross reference activities.β€’ Performing customer demonstrations by setting up sensors and evaluation kits to test out sensor platforms. This includes the new wireless based sensors that have Bluetooth and LORA communications.β€’ Helping to debug customer configurations with engineers who are having difficulties.β€’ Support distribution market managers (DMMs) to drive mindshare and promotion of TES products among distributor teams. Promotion includes technical engineering training to distribution engineers.β€’ Achieve a solid understanding of TES product portfolio and new product launch roadmap.β€’ Interface with customer engineers to communicate effectively back to the Product Marketing and development teams the specific electrical and mechanical features that customers require in new devices.β€’ Establish relationships with key customer engineering contacts and decision makers.β€’ Hold whiteboard meetings to assist engineering teams design in the correct TE Sensor

  • Provide technical support for TES BU products at customers and local distributor branch offices within the assigned regional territory.

What your background should look like:β€’ BS degree in Engineering (Electrical and or Mechanical preferred)β€’ Design engineering experience that allows credibility with your engineers and leadership in white board design sessions. Experience working with computer driven application software.β€’ Minimum of 5 years' experience in technical sales engineering roleβ€’ Experience working with Distribution (Channel Distributors preferred)β€’ Sales Engineering experience in the sensor industry a plusβ€’ Experience working with MS Power Point, Excel, Word, and Outlook (Salesforce is a plus)β€’ Must be willing and able to travel a minimum of 50% of the time into customers within your territory.

Compensationβ€’ Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $100,000 - $135,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)β€’ Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.β€’ Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
