Overview of the RoleÂ
- The Account Manager position is responsible for creating and executing Kroger specific sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports company revenue and profit targets. You will play a critical role in building our team and building sales for these key customers. If you love selling and building relationships, this could be the role for you!Â
- Remote – must be local to Cincinnati, OH
- Travel Requirements – Less than 10% to attend all major Industry shows client national sales meetings, & or any other events that would be warranted; all other travel is within assigned market (automobile)Â

What You’ll Do at C.A. Fortune  Â
- Create and execute Kroger sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports company revenue and profit targetsÂ
- Meet regularly with existing customers to understand their evolving business needs and position product solutions to address those needs, provide all maintenance, new item submissions, promotional support, etc.Â
- Build long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new customers & clientsÂ
- Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and clients and be available and responsive to their real-time needs.Â
- Work effectively/professionally with company’s internal departments (Client Development Team, Marketing, Insights, Client Services, Business Support Specialists & Accounts Receivable), assuring elite management of our clients and customers businessesÂ
- Attend all required national trade shows, market specific sales meetings, client specific sales meetings, or any other necessary functions (established by your supervisor)Â
- Guide Clients through the total distribution process; including pricing and promotional strategy, new item introductions, logistics and supply chain, deduction management. Â
- Coordinate and prepare Clients for top-to-top meetings and category business reviews with Distributor partners. Â
- Direct Clients and Company personnel through the planning, preparation, and execution of Distributors’ trade shows.Â
What You Should Bring to the TableÂ
- Must have experience calling on KrogerÂ
- Experience with category reviews at Kroger
- 3-5 years experience in the consumer products industry (specifically food products)Â
- Strong proficiency with all necessary computer-based programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)Â
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher requiredÂ
