Account Manager, LC/MS

Job Description

We are looking for an Account Manager to join the Life Science and Applied Markets Group field organization! The ideal individual will possess a unique combination of scientific education and experience with chromatography and mass spectrometry. You will work well independently but will appreciate being part of a dynamic sales team.

The ideal candidate will reside in the Boston, MA city limits.

In this role, you will be:

• Responsible for selling of company, systems and services to end-user customers in assigned Boston area territory, pharma and bio-pharma accounts.
• Responsible for developing customers and their satisfaction.
• Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities.
• Interprets customer needs and works to meet those needs.
• Identifies potential business opportunities, able to handle complex leads independently.
• Works on sales assignments with broadly defined objectives.
• Solves non-routine issues, challenges and problems within field of specialization.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent
• Typically 2+ years relevant experience for entry to this level
• Familiarity with liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry, and other analytical chemistry
• Technical sales experience is a plus
