Job Description
KNIME is growing rapidly and we're seeking smart, motivated, and creative people up for the challenge of helping us achieve ambitious scaling goals while continuing to empower the active community. Right now, we are looking for an Account Manager to join our team Named Accounts team at KNIME in Austin.
Who you are
You are a revenue-oriented professional who puts the customer at the center of everything you do. You can identify a solid opportunity and bring it to fruition but also know when to walk away. You are tenacious but not pushy, you bring credibility but also empathy. You are a self-starter and have the confidence to push into the unknown without any promise of success. You have a track record of success at a software/tech company working with Enterprise Accounts. You are analytical and use data to make decisions on where to spend time and money.
You should be driven by a strong desire to build and maintain relationships with happy customers and help them solve their problems. You think strategically and can put a plan together with your customers to drive value for them, and drive revenue.
An understanding of data science would be nice but is not a must-have as we can teach you what you need to know. Additional languages beyond English are a bonus. A healthy sense of humor is also always appreciated.
That's the job
In a nutshell, your job is to identify and sign-up new Enterprise customers, expand existing relationships in a manner commensurate with KNIME's core values. You will be the main contact for a set of named accounts and will work together with our Data Scientists and broader team members to strategically approach clients, understand their needs, help with software demonstrations, evaluations, and negotiate contracts, ensuring customer happiness.
We're looking for someone to join us in Austin, Texas at our Americas HQ, although remote candidates may be considered.
