Account Manager at Dialpad
An Account Manager at Dialpad is responsible for providing best in class strategic account management across a portfolio of existing Dialpad customers. Serving as a consultant to the client, the AM will show the value of what's possible through the implementation of the Dialpad product suite.Â
The AM will develop and execute on a sales strategy for their book of business. They will be responsible for meeting/exceeding sales and revenue goals and objectives, overall customer relationship management and customer satisfaction. The AM is ultimately responsible for making sure our customers are constantly realizing the value of their account, driving positive outcomes for both the customer and Dialpad.Â
The AM is a member of the Sales organization, will carry a revenue quota and will report directly to the Director of Account Management. Â
Mid-Market Account ManagerÂ
- Focused on a portfolio of Mid-Market customers, the Mid-Market AM will own the sales process from start to finish. You will work closely with Sales Managers and Sales Engineers to grow our existing customer base.Â
- Work leads and generate pipeline.Â
- Achieve or exceed quarterly revenue goals.Â
- Create an account plan for how you will achieve your quarterly goalsÂ
- Build talk tracks to align with specific client use cases
- Develop a contract strategy within assigned accounts to maximize returnÂ
- Serve as a Dialpad expert and become a trusted advisor and resource for your customersÂ
- Identify customers who would be a good fit for the Customer Advisory Board and Executive Sponsor Program. Become an advocate for the customer back to Dialpad
- Partner with Customer Success to drive adoptionÂ
- Cultivate relationships with our customers to gain insight into customer strategy and expansion plansÂ
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of sales experience in an ever-changing environment
- Proven success in meeting and exceeding revenue targetsÂ
- Passionate about providing a top notch, best in class customer experience
- Strong presentation, meeting facilitation, and written communication skills
- Comfortable analyzing and understanding dataÂ
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to track numerous details
- Willingness to travel to customer locations or events as needed
- Preferred expertise in SaaS sales
- Desire to work in a fast paced startup environment where your input is desired to help craft our offerings and how we interact with clients
- Experienced with CRM software (ex. Salesforce) and GSuite tools (Google Sheets)
- Ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholdersÂ
