Position Description:

Achieve aggressive monthly service goals by demonstrating extraordinary leadership skills. Ensure customer service is maximized while operating in a compliant manner. Strong communication skills will be highlighted when working with Sales, Underwriting and Borrowers.

Essential Functions include:

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial lending loans including financial statement review, performance reports, cash flow review, and UCC perfection
  • Develop relationship with borrower after funding until loan is paid in full
  • Act as front line contact with borrower for questions with loan (i.e. provide payoff, sweep releases)
  • Able to independently handle multiple loans at a time with little supervision
  • Understand and be able to communicate regarding loan collateral and related contracts, including loan documents and commission statements
  • Assured assigned loans are performing each month
  • Generate and import daily bank imports into Bridge
  • Administrative duties include performance reports, mentor to Account Managers, commissions and bank reconciliation
  • Keep ahead of market trends in insurance arena, ensuring that Oak Street Funding is at the forefront of changes and trends
  • Ensure all cash collateral accounts are sufficiently funded and reconciled daily
  • Responsible for updating cash and commission log daily
  • Responsible for New Servicing Checklist on Funding Process of Commercial Loans
  • Creation of ACH and wires
  • Sending monthly invoices to OSS's loan portfolio
  • Work with the collection department to insure defaults are cured within guidelines
  • Run and review performance reports
  • Responsible for recommendation of refinances, interest only extension, amendments and exception releases
  • Work with sales and underwriting team to increase efficiencies through improved processes
  • Responsible for creating efficiencies with the service process
  • Provide reports to management regarding the performance of the loan portfolio
  • Handle special projects or assignments as needed

Compensation: Non-Exempt

Experience/Education/Critical Skills Required:

Proven experience (Minimum two years experience in insurance/banking related field is desired) Detail and results oriented Excellent verbal and written communication skills Organized and detailed with high level analytical and problem solving skills Must be organized and able to multi task Proficient in Microsoft Products Must be proficient in using Excel Macros Proficient in web searches and programs Must have the ability to work in a high production and structured environment and possess strong customer service skills Insurance industry experience a plus Self motivator in team environment
