Account Manager - Sales
Job Description
Copart, Inc., a leader in vehicle remarketing services seeks an experienced Account Manager. Account Managers are responsible for all client relationships with a primary goal of retaining and growing volume and revenues from existing as well as new clients. Responsible for maintaining frequent contact with customers and ensuring that the business needs of clients are addressed in a timely fashion.
Responsibilities:
- Growth of new business opportunities in Finance and Fleet Segments for regional and local prospects and customers.
- Assist National Account Managers, Directors and VPs as required to help maintain and grow business.
- Prospecting via multiple methods including phone calls, email, and other unspecified methods.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the business model and serve as a liaison between the customers and the organization.
- May be required to visit customer locations to build relationships ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Increase the volume and revenue from existing clients. Identify and pursue new business opportunities from existing clients as well as new clients.
- Collect and regularly update information from clients related to projected volumes and provide the same to Senior Leaders.
- Utilize all appropriate means to research, respond to and resolve customer issues and concerns.
- Work with Operations Regional Managers, General Managers, and the Fleet Lease team to provide stellar customer service to customers.
- Onboarding new clients end to end via collaboration with multiple departments within the company.
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline or equivalent experience required.
- Business experience will be considered in lieu of business degree
- Minimum of three (1) year of account management or sales experience required
- Prior experience in automotive auction environment
- Must be highly skilled in organizing and prioritizing workload.
- Be creative and solutions oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Possess public speaking skills
- Ability to prepare and make professional presentations to clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Have a general understanding of B2B interface technology
- Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time.
