The team you'll be part of

The Customer Experience organization provides a common interface to customers including account and relationship management, acting as the voice of the customer internally and creating demand across our business groups. While bringing deep understanding of local markets for our customer, the CX organization ensures strong alignment between sales and delivery teams.

An exciting opportunity to work in the ever-changing Telecommunication Industry. As a part of the Webscale account team, you will be a Strategic Sales Professional for Webscale business within North America responsible for generating orders and revenue.

What you will learn and contribute to

As part of our team, you will:

  • Be responsible for Managing, Developing and Growing the Webscale business in North America.
  • Develop/execute engagement strategies across his/her accounts from which global targets and priorities are derived.
  • Define strategies and actions to develop opportunities for Nokia.
  • Manage Sales forecasts on CRM tools and platform.
  • Be able to successfully win business in a highly complex and competitive market segment while achieving year over year growth.
  • Be capable of articulating Nokia's value proposition to the customer and translate Nokia technology products into innovative solutions with sound business cases that effectively drive investment.
  • Be responsible for the e2e selling process from identifying the opportunities, value bases selling, relationship management, tender/proposal, finalizing of deals/negotiation to closing of the sales.
  • Define all tactics and strategies to address and mitigate competitive threats against existing Nokia's installed base and/or new opportunities.
  • Build effective relationships with the appropriate Nokia partners to deliver a holistic support model.

Your skills and experience

You must have:

  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience working in ICT (Information and Communications Technology) industries at senior sales levels.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working within the Webscalers.
  • Considering some of the Webscalers are considering or already exploring Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN), a personal network covering NTN customers is a must.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, results oriented organization where leadership, risk-taking, teamwork and commitment to execution are essential.
  • Must be extremely articulate with strong presentation skills, comfortable presenting in front of senior level customer audiences.
  • The ability to negotiate using a Win/Win philosophy required.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Technology expertise in emerging technologies
  • Knowledge on mobile networks, core networks and networking
  • A clear record of achievement and closing complex deals
  • Experience in managing partnerships would be an added advantage.
