Hybrid: 2 day/week in office

Role Summary

Our team is looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the Company’s accounts receivable process in areas of invoicing, collections and deposits. In addition to reconciling accounts, responsibilities include maintaining positive relationships with clients and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policy. You must feel comfortable reaching out to customers for past due payments, setting up new accounts, and resolving disputed challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in all aspects of month-end invoicing.
  • Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits/collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are investigated and resolved.
  • Respond timely to communications received in the general AR Inbox.
  • Manage Agent and Prepay credit card transactions, refunds and chargebacks.
  • Collaborate with account managers, conduct credit checks and review of credit viability on new and existing accounts.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Prepare the calculation of various revenue-related taxes.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, controls and reconciliations as needed.
  • Support the Accounting Team with AR and revenue requests for internal/external audit.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field preferred
  • Proficiency in using commonly used ERP systems and Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience in accounts receivable principles and collection procedures in a public company environment preferred
  • Tactful; Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
