Job Opportunity:
Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has an exciting opportunity for an Account Relationship / On-boarding Manager for our travel insurance division in our Stevens Point, WI office.
This position is a dual role that involves relationship management of current and future accounts, combined with project and on-boarding management of several strategic and innovative initiatives needed to support the future growth of the business' partner distribution.
This is a customer-focused position for someone with excellent communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks at once, has a keen understanding and passion for leveraging technology to optimize the sales process, and is comfortable managing deadlines that meet the expectations of the senior management team within the Travel Division.
The ideal candidate values working in a highly collaborative environment, embraces simplicity over complexity, and thinking outside of the box in providing practical solutions for travel advisors and their customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain and grow relationships to drive profitable premium with existing partners
- Serve as the business contact to existing clients for all related communications and matters
- Coordinate on-boarding of new accounts by managing the technical, product, licensing and sales distribution conversations in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Manage the growth and profitability of existing accounts by understanding clients' business; analyzes data and client performance; working with product and underwriting on potential account-level changes
- Act as the business product owner for new sales initiatives and manage those large strategic projects on the sales & service roadmap earmarked to support future growth of partner sales distribution
- Supervise and lead the projects to completion; ensure project milestones are met
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to drive the strategic projects forward
- Develop documentation of new sales processes and any training needs as a result of the project
- Manage audit, compliance and account review processes for existing accounts
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years in supporting accounts in growth initiatives and some large-scale project management or related experience
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with IT teams in developing new technical systems in an Agile environment
- Be adaptable to changing requirements
- Ability to use Office programs and other project management software
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently
