Account Representative

The Account Representative will join Clariant's Deepwater division within our Care Chemicals Business Unit and will undergo a comprehensive training program designed to enhance technical, sales, and account management abilities. They will maintain customer relationships through field support, trouble-shooting, value-delivery, and meeting customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• You will support customer base on a on call basis
• You will provide comprehensive mechanical, diagnostic and analytical service to provide excellent customer service
• Performs maintenance overhauls and emergency services as needed along with investigate and resolve customer issues
• Work with Account/Area Managers to execute sales strategy and generate sales growth

• Identification, closing & acquiring new business in existing accounts, at agreed annual sales value
• You'll develop and control individual customers business plans in coordination with management

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering preferred, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• 3-5+ years of oil and gas industry progressive experience preferred, preference for oilfield chemical service
• Knowledge of oil and gas chemical production
• Must be able to travel 50% of time, able to obtain offshore qualifications
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills and presentation skills
• Ability to obtain all necessary clearances and certifications
• Proficient problem-solving ability with customers, personnel, operations, and chemical solutions
