Account Representative - Remote
Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is seeking an Account Representative to join our Sales team. This position is responsible for supporting existing accounts and executing growth strategies.
**This position is a Remote role**
Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $60,000 to $70,000. Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, the Company offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Sources new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails
- Maintains strong working relationships with internal partners, such as Operations, Finance and Marketing
- Creates value through a consultative, proactive and disciplined effort. Acts as strategic product specialist and trusted advisor. Understands and articulates different solutions and the attractiveness of dormakaba's innovative suite of products and solutions
- Drives profitable sales growth through new business development efforts as well as increasing "share of the wallet" with existing clients
- Solidifies reputation as a trusted advisor deploying consultative approach to generating new business
- Identifies strategic opportunities and establish sales tactics to penetrate and develop specific clients in assigned regions and markets
- Continuously reviews competitive market landscape and recommends, develops, and implements new and creative tactics to maximize sales opportunities and revenue
- Performs effectively within a cross-functional team that is comprised of both internal and external stakeholders
- Ensures contractual commitments are met during the term of customer agreements
- Provides complete timely reporting including opportunities updates, sales forecasts, call reports, in Salesforce.com (SFDC)
- Represents and exemplifies dormakaba's core values and business principles
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- 2 years Account Management/Inside Sales experience preferred, but not required
- Knowledge or experience with manufacturing, door hardware, access control and security solutions are preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office for Windows is required; experience with SFDC is strongly preferred
- Excellent command of the English language, written and verbal

- Presentation skills (via phone and MS Teams)
- A small amount of travel maybe required (< 5%) based on client portfolio requirements, internal team meetings, training, and planning sessions
