Account Sales Specialist - Professional Division
Colorado / Arizona
This position is responsible for account and sales management within the pet breeder, show breeder, shelter, working and sporting segments in the assigned territory. This role is tasked with driving advocacy through selective account acquisition to drive recommendation and subscription. The Account Specialist will also drive advocacy through education by delivering presentations and prepared content. This role will be split between home office responsibilities and field work
What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, animal health or related field OR 3+ years proven experience in animal health/pet food sales.
- Knowledge and experience within the shelter, sporting and/or pet breeder segments is especially desirable as this role will include working with all 5 current PRO segments (Pet breeder, show breeder, shelter, working, sporting) for both canine and feline sales.
- 20-50% Travel required
Nice to Have:
- Experienced in pet space such as vet technical or pet / breeder
- Sales experience
- Bi-lingual
- Comfortability with technology (Salesforce)
- Understanding of creating new platforms
What would be your key responsibilities?
- Establish and grow relationships with key stakeholders within all segment types (breed clubs, working/sporting dog kennels, key shelters and other major organizations)
- Enable Royal Canin and Eukanuba sales growth by influencing purchase, recommendations and testimonials among key influencers
- Achieve total growth and product penetration objectives within target advocates
- Ability to translate knowledge of our products, categories and customer data into business opportunities
- Drive education across all segments by delivering sales/nutritional presentations
- Collaborate across PRO and Retail channels to help achieve an optimal customer experience (Assist with Cities Initiative in uncovered markets as needed)
- Complete CRM call reports, Salesforce knowledge is a plus
- Weekly recap reporting
- Expense report submission as required
- Other responsibility as required

- The base pay range for this role is $64,000 - $96,000

Pay Range:
$77.334,00 - $116.002,00
